Cardinal dancers distribute awards

Senior Zoe Weltzin was named the Cardinal dance team’s outstanding dancer for the 2010-2011 season, and earned Central Lakes All-conference honors in both kick and jazz.

The Cardinals, who finished seventh overall in the CLC, also had DJ Parkin and Heather Schneider earn All-CLC honors in kick and jazz respectively.

Receiving the most spirited award was sophomore Madison Groettum with the most improved award going to 8th grader Lyndsey Harp.

The Cardinals were also selected for the Minnesota Association of Dance Teams’ Academic Excellence award by having a cumulative grade point average of 3.3 or higher.
