'Magical night under the sea' set for adults with disabilities

A formal dance for adults with disabilities is set for Sunday, April 3 from 5 to 8 p.m. at The Barn at Holiday Inn in Alexandria.

The theme for the dance is “Magical Night Under the Sea.” The evening will transport adults with disabilities and their friends to a place where they can view all the creatures from the deep sea.

The evening will begin with keepsake prom pictures and mermaid punch. A formal feast will be followed by dancing to the music of J&L Sound.

Tickets are $14 in advance and $17 at the door. Staff tickets are $10 in advance and $13 at the door.

The event is sponsored by Alexandria Community Education, J&L Sound, Liberty Livewires 4-H Club and the Mary Beers family.
