Calling all writers! The Viking Library System is establishing writers groups in libraries in three communities in the region: New York Mills Public, Elbow Lake, and Fergus Falls.
Writers interested in meeting others to find support, refine skills, and gain confidence are invited to attend. The first three gatherings will be led by members of the Lake Region Writers Network at the following locations and times.

Saturdays, April 2, 16, 30, and May 14 from 10:00-12:00 noon.

Participants should bring writing materials and are encouraged to attend all three meetings. Following the structured introductory sessions, the group will continue to meet independently if members are interested.
These newly established writers groups are free of charge to writers of all levels and is sponsored by Viking Library System, Lake Region Writers Network, and the local libraries. The project is funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage fund.
