Chippewa River Watershed project hosting annual meeting
The Chippewa River Watershed Project (CRWP) is hosting its annual meeting on Thursday, March 24 at the Starbuck Community Center. The evening begins with registration and a social gathering at 5 p.m., meal at 6 p.m. and program at 7 p.m.
The Chippewa River Watershed Project (CRWP) is hosting its annual meeting on Thursday, March 24 at the Starbuck Community Center. The evening begins with registration and a social gathering at 5 p.m., meal at 6 p.m. and program at 7 p.m.
During the social gathering, displays will be set up for guests to enjoy. The program will include CRWP updates and 2010 water quality monitoring results. Aaron Onsrud with the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency will present biological monitoring data highlighting fish and macroinvertebrate populations and Stephen Lee with the MPCA will share the history of environmental expectations in Minnesota.
The Chippewa River Watershed Project annual meeting is an opportunity to learn more about the watershed and get updates on the work that has been done through the CRWP and its partners in the past year.
