Alex Nordic skiing: Sieling wins All-conference honors

Julia Sieling’s third place finish at the Central Lakes Conference Nordic ski meet Thursday earned her All-Conference honors as she led the Cardinal girls’ team to a third place overall finish.

Julia Sieling’s third place finish at the Central Lakes Conference Nordic ski meet Thursday earned her All-Conference honors as she led the Cardinal girls’ team to a third place overall finish.

Melissa Gromatka finished sixth to earn CLC honorable mention, as did Todd Johnson and Jimmy Lovrien, who were eighth individually in the classic and skate divisions, respectively.

The Cardinal boys were fourth overall.

Little Falls won both the boys’ and the girls’ Central Lakes Conference titles.

The Cardinals will be competing next Thursday when they compete in the Section 2 meet at Camp Ripley near Little Falls.
