Friday, February 11

Pope County Historical Museum, open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guided tours at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Kids crafts and activities throughout the day. It’s located at 809 South Lakeshore Drive, Glenwood. Website: www.popecountymuseum.wordpress.com

Ann Bickle Heritage House, open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Guided tours at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. It’s located at 226 East Minnesota Avenue, Glenwood.

Winterama – children’s activities on the ice, the Polar Plunge and a minnow eating contest. It will take place near Lakeside Ballroom, Glenwood, from 1 to 3:30 p.m.

Douglas County Library, open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Featured displays include Minnesota Bookshelves and the Evansville Arts Coalition’s “Flying Pieces of Art.” It’s located at 720 Fillmore, Alexandria. Website: www.douglascountylibrary.org

Sertoma/Viking Sportsmen Ice Fishing Challenge on Lake Agnes near North Broadway and 2nd Avenue. Starts at noon. Website: www.icefishingchallenge. org

School District 206/Community Education class, “Containing Winter’s Libations from Demitasse to Tankards.” Build a drinking vessel out of clay and decorate with colorful glazes. It will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. at Knute Nelson Gables – Governor’s Room, 1220 Nokomis Street, Alexandria. Preregistration: (320) 762-3310, extension 1.
