Area girls' basketball: Lakers fall to Tigers in WCCS

Minnewaska was unable to sustain their strong first half against Morris and fell to the Tigers 58-36 last Tuesday in West Central South Conference girls’ basketball action.

Minnewaska struggled with their shooting, hitting just one of 13 attempts from three point range, and were 30 percent overall, dropping the Lakers to 0-11 in conference play and 1-14 overall.

Kaylie Jacobs led the Lakers with 11 points and eight rebounds.
