AFSC: Alexandria skaters compete in Willmar, St. Cloud

    Contributed Members of the Alexandria Figure Skating Club competed in a pair of events recently. Skaters who competed at St. Cloud were (back) Gretchen Majerus, Misha Harstad, Analea Sheets, Ramsey Burss, Mae Copley, Ember Willard, (front) Mariah Fults, Madeline Hartwell.

Several Alexandria Figure Skating Club members competed in a pair of competitions recently, earning high honors.

At Willmar’s Diamond Edge Basic Skills competition January 15, Mariah Fults was first in Basic 4 interpretive, Madeline Hartwell was first in basic 4 compulsory and first in freestyle, and Gretchen Majerus was first in preliminary compulsory and first in freestyle.

At the Granite City Basic Skills competition in St. Cloud on January 22, Fults was first in basic 4 freestyle, Hartwell was first in basic 4 compulsory, Majerus was first in preliminary compulsory and freestyle, and Mae Copley was first in pre-preliminary freestyle.

MARIAH FULTS (basic 4) – 4th in compulsory, 2nd in freestyle, 1st in interpretive.

MADELINE HARTWELL (basic 4) – 1st in compulsory, 1st in freestyle.

MAE COPLEY (pre-preliminary) – 4th in compulsory, 5th in freestyle.

RAMSEY BURSS (pre-preliminary) – 3rd in compulsory, 6th in freestyle, 4th in interpretive.

ANALEA SHEETS (preliminary) – 2nd in compulsory, 2nd in freestyle, 3rd in interpretive.

GRETCHEN MAJERUS (preliminary) – 1st in compulsory, 1st in freestyle, 2nd in interpretive.

MISHA HARSTAD (pre-preliminary) – 3rd in compulsory, 2nd in freestyle.

ST. CLOUD GRANITE CITY BASIC SKILLS

MARIAH FULTS (basic 4) – 2nd in compulsory, 1st in freestyle, 2nd in interpretive.

MADILINE HARTWELL (basic 4) – 1st in compulsory, 2nd in freestyle.

GRETCHEN MAJERUS (preliminary) – 1st in compulsory, 1st in freestyle, 2nd in interpretive.
