LAT serves up love and romance in February
It's February – the crazy month of love and romance. That is just what Lakes Area Theatre (LAT) is serving up this Friday night, live on the LAT stage.
It's February – the crazy month of love and romance. That is just what Lakes Area Theatre (LAT) is serving up this Friday night, live on the LAT stage.
Members of the troupe will perform two love stories. The first is a short offering called Success Story. It is about selfless love; not in the romantic sense but in the sense of doing what is good and right for another human being. Featured in this show are Bruce Wegner, Kara Gerdes, Lars Markeson, Gene Meier, Sharon Thalmann, Phil Goellner, Sandy Susag and John Thalmann.
The second story is entitled For Business Reasons. This story is about a young college coed who finds love through her employment of babysitting services. Starring in For Business Reasons are Bruce Wegner, Leah Drexler, Sandy Susag, Sharon Thalmann, Kara Gerdes and Phil Goellner. Karen Gladen is on keyboard and John Thalmann will provide sound effects for both productions.
Stay tuned to KXRA 1490 AM this Sunday, February 6 at 12:30 p.m. Find out who The Powder River Kid is in the first Western offered up by LAT. The frontier gentleman, a newspaper man traveling the Montana Territory, meets an assortment of characters in this tale of doing the right thing. Starring in this production are Kevin Lee, Curt Ostenson, Gary Lund, Mary Pohl, Jim Odden and Rick Dusterhoft.
