The Little Falls boys’ basketball team beat Alexandria for the second time this season last Friday night as the Flyers earned a 61-49 Central Lakes Conference victory.
Thomas Smith poured in 17 points to lead Little Falls to the victory. Josh Wenzel added 12, while Chris Curry led Alexandria with 13 points.
The loss dropped Alexandria to 6-7 overall and 5-5 in the CLC. The Flyers moved to 12-5 and 8-2 in conference play.
The Cardinals will be back at home tomorrow, Thursday, when they welcome Brainerd to town. Sauk Rapids-Rice will then come to Alexandria for another CLC battle next Tuesday.
