Dani Schultz, Sara Rajewsky and Sam Falk posted big numbers as they led the Morris-Benson Area girls’ hockey team to a 8-0 win over Windom Area on Monday night.
Schultz finished with seven points on four goals and three assists. Rajewsky added three goals and three assists, while Falk added one goal and three helpers. The Storm used that offense to jump out to an early lead and never look back. Morris-Benson Area scored four goals in each of the first two periods to cruise to the victory.
The Storm defense smothered the Eagles all night long. They allowed only four shots all night as they outshot Morris 48-4. Sam Falk picked up the shutout by turning aside all four shots she faced.
