Cardinal gymnasts nip Willmar in CLC action

The Alexandria gymnastics team won a thriller on Tuesday night as it edged Willmar 133.3-132.325.

The Bowdens once again led the way for Alexandria. Briquelle finished first in the all around with 35.625 points. She won the bars (8.575) and floor (9.6) routines and was second and third in the beam and vault, respectively.

Tahlia Bowden was right behind her in the all around with a fourth place finish after accumulating 33.425 points. She was third on the bars (8.125), fifth on the vault (8.65) and beam (8) and fourth on the floor (8.65). Sarah Dolan helped provide her team with the depth it needed to get the win with fourth-place finishes in the vault and beam routines.
