Letter - Wake up, people - drugs caused shooting
Don’t retreat, reload. Crosshairs, guns and how many bullets a gun holds have nothing to do with Tucson’s massacre.
To the editor:
Don’t retreat, reload. Crosshairs, guns and how many bullets a gun holds have nothing to do with Tucson’s massacre. Don’t be so stupid. It has all to do with a five-letter word – drugs.
We have crime going on all over, even right here in our community, like we have never seen before and it comes down to drugs. Drugs are wrecking our job force, wrecking a lot of young people, older people and wrecking our country and that is what we better stop.
Jared Lee Loughner would never hurt a flea most likely, had it not been for drugs. That 3-year-old girl down south of here – her mother’s boyfriend beat and shook her to death. Did a gun’s cross hairs cause that? No, drugs did. I would dare to say that more than 95 percent of crime caused in our county is related to drugs. That’s where we better point the finger, people – drugs.
