Preschool collects shoes, holds open house
The children of Community Preschool of First Lutheran Church in Alexandria have been collecting tennis shoes for about a year.

Preschool collects shoes
The children of Community Preschool of First Lutheran Church in Alexandria have been collecting tennis shoes for about a year. The shoes will be given to people in need of shoes in our community, our country and around the world. The project is helping children become more aware of the needs of others. All families with children ages 3 to 5 are invited to an open house on Monday, January 31 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The preschool is located at 822 Douglas Street. Registration material will be available.
