The Runestone Museum in Alexandria is once again hosting its annual “A Night at the Museum.” This year’s event is set for Friday, January 28 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the museum, 206 Broadway in Alexandria.
The museum has made several upgrades throughout the year and is ready to show them off. There are new exhibits, energy-efficient lights and new carpeting.
Join in for an evening of hors d’oeuvres and fun when “history comes to life” at the museum. Featured guests include Darwin Ohman, grandson of Olaf and Karin Ohman, and Al Lieffort, county parks director.
A Night at the Museum is a fundraiser for the museum. Tickets are $25 per person. A ticket is good for a 20 percent discount on all membership levels. Tickets can be purchased at the museum or by calling (320) 763-3160. For information on the museum, visit the website www. runestonemuseum.org.
