Hoop dreams
The Alexandria Elks held its annual Elks Hoop Shoot at the Lakes Area Recreation gym Sunday. Boys and girls ages 8 to 13 stood at the free-throw line and attempted a series of 10 and 15 shots at the basket.

The Alexandria Elks held its annual Elks Hoop Shoot at the Lakes Area Recreation gym Sunday. Boys and girls ages 8 to 13 stood at the free-throw line and attempted a series of 10 and 15 shots at the basket. Trophies were awarded to the first and second place finishers in all the divisions. The first place winners will go on to compete in the state semi-finals in Baxter on January 29.
