Letter - Cost of fines don't make sense
What is wrong with this county or is it the judges?
To the editor:
What is wrong with this county or is it the judges? A person can get a $100-plus fine for a seat belt violation and if a person has one drink too many they can get a fine of hundreds if not thousands of dollars and maybe even lose their driver’s license. But let someone get caught growing $300,000 worth of pot and charges are dropped.
Is this county trying to tell us to buckle up, stop drinking and driving, and grow pot? Or maybe it depends on who you are or who the judges are?
