WEATHER UPDATE: Travel advisory issued for Douglas County

As of 2:45 p.m. today, Sheriff Troy Wolbersen is advising limited travel only in Douglas County.

As of 2:45 p.m. today, Sheriff Troy Wolbersen is advising limited travel only in Douglas County.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office has received numerous calls of vehicles in the ditch and minor traffic accidents.

As the storm persists tonight and into tomorrow, it appears the condition will continue to deteriorate, Wolbersen said.

Motorists should use extreme caution while traveling over the holiday weekend.
