Peterson hails ag commissioner appointment

U.S. Representative Collin Peterson, who represents the 7th District that includes Douglas County, issued the following statement on Dave Frederickson’s appointment as Minnesota’s Agriculture Commissioner:

“Governor-elect Dayton made an excellent choice for Minnesota’s next Agriculture Commissioner in Dave Frederickson. Minnesotans can rest assured that Dave will be a strong and knowledgeable advocate for farmers and rural Minnesotans,” Peterson said. “His rural sensibility, along with his great sense of humor, is evident to all who know him, and I look forward to working with him in his new role.”
