Manufacturing group to meet in Alexandria
Tri-State Manufacturers’ Association will hold its annual meeting on Tuesday, January 4, at the Holiday Inn in Alexandria with Dr. Bruce Miles scheduled as guest speaker.
Tri-State Manufacturers’ Association will hold its annual meeting on Tuesday, January 4, at the Holiday Inn in Alexandria with Dr. Bruce Miles scheduled as guest speaker.
Miles, owner of Ed.D. & Big River Group, will share information from a book he recently published entitled, Looking out for Number 2.
His presentation will help owners, leaders and managers get the most out of their most important asset: their number-two employee. Session participants will receive a lecture/interactive presentation with ongoing questions and answers along with handouts detailing strategy, tool and research summary. Each attendee will also receive a complimentary copy of Miles’ new book.
The annual meeting will be preceded by a gathering of the Tri-State Quality Council.
Jeremy Schwartz, Alexandria Technical and Community College, and Roger Cullen, Innova Industries, will lead participants of this group in a discussion to prioritize and plan for 2011.
The Quality Council meeting, open to members and nonmembers, is scheduled from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Alexandria Holiday Inn.
Social time is scheduled from 5 to 5:30 p.m., followed by a pasta-buffet dinner and a business meeting, including guest speaker Bruce Miles, from 6:15 to 7:30 p.m.
Tri-State Manufacturers’ Association (TSMA) is a membership-based organization serving manufacturers and related industries in west central Minnesota and eastern North and South Dakota.
