Slumberland helps families during holidays

Slumberland Furniture is working to provide families in need with new beds through its annual Making Homes for the Holiday program.

Slumberland Furniture is working to provide families in need with new beds through its annual Making Homes for the Holiday program. Company-wide, Slumberland will donate more than 1,700 mattress and box spring sets to non-profit partners. Shown are Alexandria Slumberland warehouse workers (left to right) Dan Olson, Mitch Mackechney and Bob Walz III. The Making Homes for the Holidays program began in 1993. Since then, Slumberland has donated more then 19,000 new mattress and box springs to deserving families. The Alexandria Walmart provided sheet sets for all the beds Slumberland is donating locally.
