LAT to share Christmas stories on air Christmas Eve

Lakes Area Theatre (LAT) will not have a live performance on Christmas Eve.

KXRA 1490 AM will be airing the LAT Christmas Show from 1 to 2 p.m. Christmas Eve (Friday, December 24). Various members of the LAT Troupe will offer Christmas stories of laughter and love, hope and healing.

Offering up these stories are Gary Lund, Jessica Benson, Cathy Weber Zunker, Sandy Susag, Jim Thoreen, Chuck Grussing, Caroline Roers, Kevin Lee, Leila Preston, Pete Woit, Jill Wagner, Allen Hayes, Daniel Roers and Paul Schoenack. The show is sponsored by LAT.

On Sunday, December 26 tune in to meet Phoebe and Maude, two salty gals who live life by following their feet and their hearts, rarely their heads.

The Further Adventures of Phoebe and Maude was written by Melva Johnson and adapted for LAT by Jaimie Sandberg, Christy Meier, Sharon Thalmann, Claudia Bursch and Ann Hermes.

Starring in this show are Betsy Ostenson, Miriam Thornquist and Chuck Grussing with Pete Woit providing sound effects and Bob Piotrowski on the keyboard.
