Jon Barber, a representative from Harley Davidson’s corporate office, recently made an unexpected visit to Alexandria.
Through the efforts of Apol’s Harley Davidson, the corporate office decided to visit Alexandria Technical and Community College’s marine and small engine program.
Over the years, Apol’s has supported the program with donations and equipment. Their generosity has enhanced ATCC students’ educational experiences and has been a distinct asset to the college, according to the ATCC.
Harley Davidson’s corporate office amplified Apol’s contributions and supported the marine and small engine program with an equipment donation.
The Harley Davidson representative presented the program with two complete power train assemblies.
This contribution provides state-of-the-art learning and exemplifies the strong partnerships between businesses and ATCC’s technical programs, according to the company and college leaders.
From corporate Harley Davidson to the local business at Apol’s, business and industry support is helping to educate tomorrow’s workforce at Alexandria Technical and Community College.
