Fire damages garage, house in Garfield

The Garfield Fire Department, with mutual aid assistance from the Brandon Fire Department, was called to a fire shortly after 4 p.m. Saturday.

The Garfield Fire Department, with mutual aid assistance from the Brandon Fire Department, was called to a fire shortly after 4 p.m. Saturday, December 4. The fire reportedly started in the garage at the Swenson residence, 499 Hunter Lane in Garfield. North Ambulance and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office were also on scene.
