The Holiday Train is coming to town.
The Canadian Pacific Railway train will stop in Alexandria on Tuesday, December 14 at 1 p.m. It will arrive at the railroad crossing near the Hubbard Feed Mill at 8th Avenue and Nokomis Street.
The festively decorated Holiday Train is fun to see, but it also serves a larger purpose – to raise awareness of hunger in the community.
Those who come to see the train are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item or donation to the Douglas County Outreach Food Shelf.
