Letter - Use safety precautions in all areas at home

To the editor:
As child development majors, we think that parents should know how to keep their houses safe for children. They should be using outlet covers and using safety precautions in all areas. Mr. Yuck stickers are great for household cleaners. For young children, use cabinet safety locks and also place hazardous items out of reach of children. Such items would be curling irons, cleaning products, knives and medications.
