Santa Claus is coming to Echo Press today

Today's snowy conditions aren't stopping a visit from Santa Claus at the Echo Press.

Today's snowy conditions aren't stopping a visit from Santa Claus at the Echo Press.

The newspaper's annual "Santa Day" will take place from 9 a.m. to noon today, Saturday, at the Echo Press office, 225 7th Avenue East, Alexandria.

Parents are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for the Douglas County Outreach Food Shelf. Cash or check donations are also accepted.

An Echo Press photographer will take free pictures of children sitting on Santa's lap and the photos will be available for pickup next Wednesday.

Everyone is welcome to attend this free event.
