Football: Pheasant All-Conference

Levi Hintermeister, Aaron Lund and Phil Krueger all earned Pheasant South All-Conference honors for the 3-2 Brandon-Evansville Chargers, while Zach Hintermeister, Jerrod Geohringer and Tyson Meissner received honorable mention.

L. Hintermeister is a junior running back/linebacker, Lund a junior running back/defensive end, and Krueger a senior tight end/linebacker.

Z. Hintermeister is a junior guard/defensive tackle, Geohringer a junior tight end/defensive end and Meissner a junior quarterback/defensive back.

Tony Thiel was named coach of the year as his Wheaton team finished with an unblemished 5-0 conference record.

Wylie Pullis of Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley was named the most valuable lineman, while Alex Erickson of Chokio-Alberta/Herman-Norcross was named the most valuable back.

Ashby sophomore Tanner Langlie earned Pheasant North All-Conference honors at his linebacker position.

Arrows Jon Quernemoen, junior running back, and Tyler Johansen, junior guard, earned honorable mention.

The Arrows finished 1-7 overall and 0-5 in conference play.

Chuck Ross of Underwood, Charlie Brue of Hillcrest and Rick Harig of Bertha-Hewitt were named the coaches of the year as their teams all finished 4-1 in conference play.

Ethan Baken of Bertha-Hewitt was named the most valuable lineman and Dalton Jampsa of Underwood the most valuable back.
