Carols and desserts set at Calvary Covenant Church
The 2010 edition of carols and desserts will be held Saturday, December 11 at 7 p.m. at Calvary Covenant Church, 404 Meeker Street, in Evansville.
The 2010 edition of carols and desserts will be held Saturday, December 11 at 7 p.m. at Calvary Covenant Church, 404 Meeker Street, in Evansville.
This year, the reader’s theater group will present Henry Van Dyke’s story, The Other Wise Man, about one of the Magi whose delay in reaching Bethlehem sent him on a lifelong journey to find the Messiah.
In addition to the reading, there will be an opportunity to light memorial luminaries for those no longer in our lives.
There will be a congregational carol sing, refreshments and a chance to contribute to the Evansville Education Fund. There is no charge to attend the event.
