Live performance set at LAT Nov. 26

On stage this weekend at Lakes Area Theatre (LAT) is a radio adaptation of the beloved Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.

On stage this weekend at Lakes Area Theatre (LAT) is a radio adaptation of the beloved Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. The live performance is set for Friday, November 26 at 7 p.m. at LAT, 2214 Geneva Road NE in Alexandria. The show is adapted and directed by Kevin Lee. 

Nine actors will voice 27 characters in the performance: Pete Woit, Karen Gladen, Lars Markeson, Keri Mohror, Curtis Deterding, Dedra Zwieg, Haley Wegner, Sharon Thalmann, Bruce Wegner, Nancy Berns and Kevin Lee.  Sound effects will be provided by Daniel Roers.

 A Christmas Carol will air on KXRA 1490 AM in three parts with installments on December 5, 12 and 19 at 12:30 p.m.

On Sunday, November 28 from 12:30 to 1 p.m., part two of The Three Gifts will air on KXRA 1490 AM.

Following a recap of last week’s performance, voice actors Courtney Bitzan, Cody Saurdiff, Phil Goellner, Qunicy Roers, Christy Meier, Gene Meier, Becky Byrne and Sharon Thalmann will present the conclusion of this heartwarming story.
