Rosey Erickson finished eighth in the 50 freestyle at the Class A state swim meet today.
The Cardinal senior swam a finals time of 24.43 after finishing in 24.48 seconds in the prelims on Friday. Monticello's Amanda Paulson won the Class A state title in the event, stepping up in the finals with a time of 22.97.
