Two-car crash sends one to hospital

A 48-year-old Alexandria woman was sent to Douglas County Hospital after a two-car crash Wednesday afternoon.

A 48-year-old Alexandria woman was sent to Douglas County Hospital after a two-car crash Wednesday afternoon at the intersection of Highway 29 and Highway 27 (34th Avenue) near the Alexandria Airport. Rebecca Nohre, who was headed west on Highway 27, was treated and released. The other driver, Marlene Klaphake, 70, of Sauk Centre, was traveling southbound on Highway 29. She was reportedly not injured.
