An open house for the new Douglas County Jail is slated for this Friday.
The open house will take place November 19 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the new jail, located at 509 3rd Avenue West. A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 4 p.m.
The public is invited to view the interior of the newly constructed jail. Refreshments will be served.
