DMS students named to honor choir
Four students from Discovery Middle School in Alexandria were named to the American Choral Directors Association State Honor Choir.

Four students from Discovery Middle School in Alexandria were named to the American Choral Directors Association State Honor Choir. They include (back row, left to right) Anna Peterson and Mitch Roers, 8th grade; (front) Kari Norheim, 8th grade, and Matt Roers, 7th grade. The students went through a rigorous blind audition, competing against hundreds of singers from throughout Minnesota. The 125-member honor choir will perform at St. Cloud State University on Friday, November 19 at 5 p.m.
