Cookie Walk raises funds for library
The Friends of the Library will sponsor its 8th annual cookie walk on Saturday, December 4 from 8 a.m. to noon, or until the cookies are sold.
The Friends of the Library will sponsor its 8th annual cookie walk in the meeting room of the Douglas County Library on Saturday, December 4 from 8 a.m. to noon, or until the cookies are sold.
The Friends of the Library group is asking library patrons to bake five dozen of their favorite Christmas cookies for delivery to the library on Friday, December 3 between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Cookies will be sold for $7 per pound, with specialty cookies selling at three for $1.
