Community presentation planned for proposed new high school project

Alexandria School District 206 residents are invited to attend a presentation next Thursday to learn more about the proposed new high school.

The presentation will take place November 18 at 7 p.m. in the Jefferson High School cafeteria.

Over the past few weeks, District 206 staff and community members have been involved in the preliminary conceptual planning process for a potential new high school.

This collaborative process, which engaged more than 150 staff and community members, gathered input across the areas of academic programming, activities, community partnerships, performing arts and sustainability.

The presentation will be the first look at a preliminary conceptual design and 3-D model of the proposed new high school.
