The Central Square Concert Series VIII presents a concert by Tenore on Friday, November 19 at 7:30 p.m. at the historic Central Square auditorium in Glenwood.
Tenore features Shane Wiebe, Jason Catron and Mark David Williams, three internationally-known tenors, singing a variety of inspirational songs and hymns, as well as classical and popular vocal selections. They are presented by “Sing,” the founder of the Canadian Tenors. The concert will also include an appearance by David Ask, a Glenwood native who also sings tenor.
There will be a free workshop for all area singers and choir members of all ages at 4 p.m. The tenors will share vocal techniques and participants can learn the chorus part of a song that will be performed during the concert. For information, call the Central Square office at (320) 634-0400.
Tickets for the concert are $20 for adults and $5 for students. For reserved seating, call Central Square at 634-0400 or 1-866-497-0400. Tickets will also be available at the door.
The concert is made possible by a grant from the Lake Region Arts Council with funding from a Minnesota State Legislative appropriation.
