Lakes Area Theatre (LAT) is starting its second month of producing live radio theater performances for the Alexandria area.

LAT and KXRA offer weekly radio theater shows October through May. Shows are performed before live studio audiences, recorded and played back on KXRA 1490 AM radio, or from KXRA's website, www.kxra.com.

Live Performance, Friday, November 5, 7 p.m.
The public is invited to view a live performance of "The Three Gifts" on Friday, November 3 at 7 p.m. It will take place at Lakes Area Theatre, 2214 Geneva Road NE (log building next to the Lake Geneva public access). Admission is $10.
The show will be recorded that evening to air on KXRA 1490 AM in two parts - from 12:30 to 1 p.m. on Sundays, November 21 and 28.
This touching show addresses the heartwarming transformation of three high school tough guys from Halloween highjinx to holiday love for a little girl and her plight in life.

On Sunday, November 7 the comedy "The Wills" will air on KXRA 1490 AM from 12:30 to 1 p.m. The show was recorded in front of a live audience on October 15.
In this comedy of mistaken communication, a wife becomes suspicious of why her hubby wanted her to sign her last will and testament before a getaway vacation at a remote lodge. This show was originally broadcast as a part of the old-time radio series "My Favorite Husband," which starred Lucille Ball and Richard Denning.
