Art Hafdal scholarship available
The Art Hafdal Scholarship, in memory of Art Hafdal, former superintendent of schools for Alexandria (1949-1976), is available.
The Art Hafdal Scholarship, in memory of Art Hafdal, former superintendent of schools for Alexandria (1949-1976), established by Lois Hafdal, is available.
This $500 scholarship is available to graduates of Jefferson High School (JHS) in Alexandria who are enrolled in at least their third year of college and admitted to a program leading to a teaching degree.
The application is available at the guidance office at Jefferson High School; ask for Carrie Urness or call (320) 762-0193. The deadline to apply is Monday, March 14, 2011. This scholarship is offered through the Alexandria Dollars for Scholars program.
