Jefferson High School students selected to St. Olaf Honor Band
The following band students from Jefferson High School in Alexandria were selected to be members of the St. Olaf Honor Band Festival:
The following band students from Jefferson High School in Alexandria were selected to be members of the St. Olaf Honor Band Festival: Rachel Astrup, alto saxophone; Alex Blaser, oboe; Spencer Brand, trumpet; and Kaci McCoy, percussion. Students were selected for membership into the group based upon their musical accomplishments, accolades and musical resume.
The festival will be held on Saturday, November 13 at St. Olaf College in Northfield. The honor band will present a concert at 4 p.m. in the Skoglund Auditorium.
