Teenager dies in crash near Clara City

CLARA CITY, MINN. – A teen from Kerkhoven, Minn., was killed in a two-vehicle crash last night near here.
According to the State Patrol, Dane McClenahan, 19, of Kerkhoven died after the 1996 Toyota Camry he was driving collided head-on with a 2006 Dodge pickup.
McClenahan was traveling east on state Highway 23 at the time of the 6:40 p.m. accident.
The pickup was traveling west.
The vehicles collided about 1 1/2 miles south of Clara City.
The driver of the pickup, Anthony Jaenisch, 31, of Maynard and a passenger, Julie Jaenisch, 31, were treated for injuries at the Granite Falls (Minn.) Hospital.
