Paid Political Letter - Karpan is dedicated, caring and professional

To the editor:

As director of Douglas County Public Health, I have had the pleasure of working with County Attorney Chris Karpan for the past nine years. During that time, I have sought his legal advice regarding numerous complex situations, often involving the health and well-being of some of the most vulnerable population, namely our children and senior citizens. In every case, I have been impressed by his genuine concern for these individuals and his dedication to assuring the rights of the young and the elderly are upheld. His belief in “doing the right thing” guides his practice and his passion for his profession.

Despite multiple, competing demands for his time and counsel, I have found that Chris is never too busy to respond to my requests for advice. He seeks to thoroughly understand the issues and establishes a mutually agreeable time frame for his response. And, most importantly, he follows through as promised.

If you aren’t familiar with Chris Karpan, you should know that he cares about and is connected to his community. I appreciate his professionalism, his integrity, and his sense of humor. Douglas County has been, and will continue to be, well-served by re-electing Chris Karpan as county attorney.
