Paid Political Letter - Continue your support

To the editor:

I have heard a campaign slogan saying that both parties need to stop the bickering and get along. Just as we recently passed an $82 million disaster relief bill, we also passed many bills in a bipartisan fashion. The fact is that numerous well-managed organizations have conflict before good resolutions can be accomplished.

However, there are some very principled differences between liberals and conservative politicians. This is where I will not compromise.

I’m sure you also hear each party blaming the other for Minnesota’s “fiscal irresponsibility.” One fact is clear: the state Senate has been controlled by the liberal Democrats for over 38 years. Under this failed leadership, our state has rising unemployment, increased home foreclosures, and businesses being outsourced. Minnesota is ready for new leadership in the Senate.

With your continued support, I will represent our district with accountability and common sense. I ask for your vote on November 2.
