Paid Political Letter - Concerned about false political advertising

To the editor:

I am very concerned about false advertising in this election, particularly Bert Pexsa’s slogan: “Reducing taxes by less spending.” Pexsa has mentioned in several public forums that he will raise taxes [on higher incomes]. He claims to be a conservative Independence candidate, but raising taxes in a time of economic hardship is not conservative.

And he is only an Independence candidate because he lost to Mary Franson in the race for the Republican endorsement.

Honestly, I cannot trust someone who contradicts the ideals they have printed on their own lawn signs.
