The Alexandria Technical and Community College (ATCC) recently provided “Caterpillar Basic Engine and Electronic Diesel Engine” training for 36 members of the Minnesota National Guard.

Randy Goeke, ATCC diesel instructor, provided the training. This included three one-week sessions that included electrical troubleshooting, repair and programming of Caterpillar electronic engines, etc.

On September 24, Major General Larry Shellito and members of the Minnesota National Guard awarded ATCC President Kevin Kopischke, Randy Goeke, and Sandy Larson of Customized Training with “Outstanding Civilian Service Awards” for their work in providing this training to the National Guard.

Kopischke accepted the award on behalf of the college.

This new partnership with Minnesota National Guard will include training sessions into the future, according to ATCC leaders.
