Tribute to Buddy Holly set

The Central Square Concert Series VIII, “Performances seldom seen on stage,” will present a tribute concert “I Remember Buddy Holly and Roy Orbison,” on Saturday, October 23 at 7:30 p.m. at Central Square Historic auditorium in Glenwood.

The tribute artists, Wayne Luchau as Roy Orbison and Jeff Boxell as Buddy Holly, are backed up by The Shadows, a full ensemble of musicians elected to the Mid-America Music Hall of Fame, and a three-piece string ensemble. Also included in the concert is a tribute to the female stars of the 1960s, featuring Jenn McPherson performing songs of Petula Clark, Patsy Cline, Connie Francis and others.
