YMCA Childcare Center to host open houses

The Alexandria Area YMCA Childcare Center will be hosting community open houses during the month of October.

Community members and Y guests are welcome to drop by and check out the YMCA Childcare Center on the following dates:

•Saturday, October 9, 9 a.m. to noon.

•Thursday, October 21, 5 to 7 p.m.

•Friday, October 29, 1 to 3 p.m.

Experiences during the early years of life influence how children view their world, how they relate to others and their ability to succeed as learners, according to childcare leaders.

YMCA Childcare Center uses creative curriculum as a teaching guide to support all aspects of a child’s development.
