NOTICE OF HEARING

ON IMPROVEMENT OF

BEMAN DRIVE

FROM SAHARA LANE NORTH

TO THE END OF THE ROAD

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:

NOTICE IS HEREBYGIVEN that

due to an oversight of one parcel the

Board of Supervisors of the Township

of Ida, Douglas County, Minnesota,

will meet at the Ida Town Hall, located

at 4700 County Road 6 NW, Garfield

Minnesota, at 7:00 p.m., October 25,

2010, to consider the proposed reas-

sessment for the bituminous surfacing

of Bedman Drive from the Sahara

Lane north to the end of the road.

The area to be assessed for such

improvement is the abutting and non-

abutting property accessing such road

in Sections 26 of Ida Township. The

entire cost of the project to be as-

sessed is $98,153.75

The proposed assessment roll is

on file with the Ida Township Clerk,

and written or oral objections to said

assessment by any property owner

will be considered at the meeting. No

appeal may be taken as to the amount

of any assessment adopted unless a

written objection signed by the affect-

ed property owner is filed with the Ida

Township Clerk prior to the assess-

ment hearing or presented to the pre-

siding officer at the hearing. An owner

may appeal an assessment to district

court pursuant to Minn. Stat.§429.081

by serving notice of the appeal upon

the Chairman or Clerk of the Ida

Township Board within thirty days af-

ter adoption of the assessment and fil-

ing such notice with the district court

within ten days after service of the

Chairman or Clerk of the Ida Township

Board.
