A Bemidji man was killed in a rollover accident Monday evening near Mahnomen.
Gary J. Smith, 34, of Bemidji was a passenger in a 1993 Ford Escort that crashed on Highway 200 about seven miles east of Mahnomen.
The condition of another passenger, Mavis L. Giard, 23, of Mahnomen, was not documented, according to the State Patrol.
The driver was Conrad J. Smith, 30, of Crookston. His condition was also not documented.
According to the State Patrol, the car ran off the road, traveled in the ditch for several hundred feet, hit an approach and rolled over, coming to rest upside down. All three were trapped in the vehicle.
The crash was reported at 6:20 p.m. on dry two-lane blacktop at mile marker 53.
The Mahnomen County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene.
