Card swimming and diving: Alexandria falls to Fergus Falls

The Cardinal swimming and diving team could manage just two wins in a 115-70 loss against Fergus Falls last Thursday night.

Rosey Erickson took the 50 freestyle in 25.76 seconds, while the 200-freestyle relay team of Beth Burnham, Megan Bristow, Ellen Lanman and Erickson won in a time of 1:51.41. The Otters were dominant throughout their lineup, outscoring the Cardinals in nine of 12 events. Included in that was six 1-2 finishes.

The loss dropped Alexandria to 1-6 overall and 1-5 in the Central Lakes Conference.
